“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.”
Maya Angelou, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings.
Of course, it’s important for writers to read, which is what we’re all about here at BookMarx. But it’s even more important – even through that pesky writer’s block – that they write!
Sometimes for that, they need the support of other writers.
If you are interested in finding support and collaborating with other writers – and picking up tips to become a better writer – consider joining Creative Writings, a class hosted at BookMarx on Thursday mornings from 10-11 A.M and taught by Bob Petras.
(Psst….some of the writings may even be featured right here on our blog!)
Most importantly, the classes are open to everyone, no matter what their interest or experience.
If you find yourself free on a Thursday morning, come join other local writers to have a cup of coffee, give Raven a stroke for inspiration, and hone your writing skills. After all, to quote Fahrenheit 451 author Ray Bradbury:
“You fail only if you stop writing.”
